Here I go again! I've had a minor disaster with my favorite shirt that I had planned on wearing - I got oil splashed on it - that will teach me not to actually wear my favorite shirts while cooking. Even an apron wouldn't have saved me because the oil spots are on the shoulder (WTF!)! So, I found a replacement shirt but I may stop at the Target near my house because they had a cute outfit I liked but all the wrong sizes at the one I stopped in earlier (shirt too small, pants too big LOL). Real Dads Eat Quiche

I went over to my parent's house for father's day. My sister made the most awesome quiche ever! I'm totally going to steal her recipe! I worked on the cookbook some more today. Since I've been cooking and eating for the cookbook this weekend, I'm already down 1.5 lbs so I'm happy I'm back on track. This was a pretty good weekend! It was a nice mix of being productive and relaxing (hello, naps on both days!). I think work is going to be a bit busy this week but sometimes that can be a good thing!

I haven't gotten on here to post as much. Sorry about that! It's been rough and I haven't had much to say. This weekend I was very upset about my cat. I spent a lot of time sort of moping around the house. Ugg I'm packing up to go back home. I don't wanna go! I've had a great time this weekend and I think I did really well in the casting call. I'm just doing a quick post to say hi! I'm all settled in now. We stopped by Chelsea Market this morning to scope it out. The casting call is there tomorrow so I wanted to check it out. I had some yummy coconut gelato - just a few spoonfuls! Now we're getting ready to head off to Soho and Little Italy. No idea what to expect tomorrow but it should be an adventure. I've taken some pics so I'll upload those when I get back!

My cookbook was down for a few days but is back up now so if you tried to buy it and couldn't, try again now! What should have been a simple upload turned into a multi-day "I'm so mad at my computer I could kick it" scream fest! But I got it all straightened out now.
