You guys know that I'm a big believer in using food scales. I used them a lot to weigh my meat portions during weight loss. I'm also a big believer in tracking your carbs in fitday.com or dailyplate.com, but it's sometimes a hassle to first weigh your food and then run off to the computer to enter the info. You either have to plan in advance or you have to enter after you've eaten and sometimes you realize you ate too much only after the fact! Gordon Ramsay is in my kitchen!

well not really, but his cookware is! My Gordon Ramsay cookware was delivered last night. I haven't tried it out yet, but I love it already. It looks great (even prettier than All-Clad in my opinion) and it's heavy, but doesn't feel like my wrist is going to break off. The handles feel really nice when you hold the pans and the lids have a tiny little hole to let out steam. I'll post more once I try them out!

I posted the Hot German "Potato" salad recipe on my site. I love german potato salad but I modified it to use cauliflower instead of potatoes and it includes turkey kielbasa. German potato salad is usually more of a side dish, but I used more turkey kielbasa so it's more like a meal in this version. Very tasty and easy!On a side note, I'm a huge fan of the Steamfresh frozen veggies (by Birds Eye). You microwave them right in the bag and the bag poofs up while its steaming them. Recipe videos tomorrow!

I've planned out a few recipes for tomorrow so there should be some new recipe videos posted by tomorrow night. One is a hot german "potato" salad with turkey sausage but instead of potato I'm trying cauliflower. We'll see how it turns out. I'm testing it out for the cookbook so we'll see how it turns out!Tomorrow is going to be a busy day (need to go visit the parents) so I'll try to squeeze it all in!
