Ep. 44 - Pan Seared Chickenwith Dijon Wine SauceYou'll feel like a real chef when you make this dish! Be sure to use a pan that can go into the oven and watch that handle when you pull it out - it will be hot! Recipe:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Heat up oil or butter in an oven safe pan. Season raw chicken with salt and pepper or your choice of spices.
When pan is hot, place chicken in pan. Let the chicken sear for approximately 2 minutes, then flip and sear the other side for around 1 minute. Place the pan into the oven and cook for 5-8 minutes or until chicken is done.
Set chicken on a plate and keep warm. Using the same pan, drain out any extra fat. Then add wine, chicken broth, and mustard and bring to a boil, scraping the bits off the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon. Simmer until sauce is reduced. Pour over chicken.
