Ep. 52 - Beef in a Bag

This is my new favorite recipe! I'm not a huge beef lover but I think I'm a convert now! This recipe is so easy too. My grocery store sells the beef pre-cut into strips and they call it "fajita beef" (but it may be called skirt steak at your grocery store).

Recipe:

  • 1-1.5 lbs fajita beef
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 TB lite soy sauce
  • 1 TB sesame oil
  • 1 TB rice wine vinegar
  • 1 packet Splenda

Put beef into a ziploc baggie. Put the garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, and Splenda into the ziploc. Seal and shake the bag to mix everything together. Marinate for 1 hour (although it comes out just as good if you can't wait that long!). Add beef to non-stick skillet (I added a little sesame oil to the pan) and stir-fry until the beef is cooked and the marinade has boiled down a bit.  Enjoy!
