Ep. 7 - Tamago (Egg Sushi)

Tamago is the japanese word for a sweet egg omelette.

You may have seen tamago on rice at a sushi bar. In this recipe, we skip the rice and just roll up the tamago, slice it into 1" pieces, and dip it in some soy sauce. It's the perfect combination of sweet and salty. It's a fun way to spice up a boring old omelette and it's extremely low in calories, carbs, and fat.

Recipe:

  • 1/2 c eggbeaters (equivalent to 2 eggs)

  • 1 1/2 splenda packets

Mix egg and splenda in a bowl. Spray pan with PAM and pour egg into pan. Cook and then flip. Cook other side. Put omelette on a plate and roll up omelette until it makes a long roll. Slice into 1/2 inch to 1 inch pieces. Dip into soy sauce.
